Enjoy the sport on TV and in the press, but, more importantly get out there to your local club and enjoy the game and atmosphere on offer across the region. Chandlers Ford Snooker Club is open to members and guests every day for social snooker.

“I’d like to personally welcome you to the club. It’s an exciting time for Chandlers Ford Snooker Club as we continue to grow. We pride ourselves on focusing on the customer experience and we strive to remain adaptable, motivated and responsive in order to achieve this.

We’re continuously transforming the way we operate to constantly improve our ability to meet our goals. We continue to meet the challenges and overcome obstacles.”

OUR CLUB MEETS THE STANDARDS

We are excited to announce that our club has Gold membership status to a new national affiliation scheme called the 147 Club!

We are now part of a new network of snooker clubs that meet standards for player welfare, insurance cover and coaching provision, as set by the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB).

By being part of the 147 Club we are demonstrating that our club is open to everyone and that we have put in place policies to ensure the safety and protection of our members.

We are pleased to be part of this new initiative to enhance snooker at grassroots level.

We look forward to working with the scheme to help provide people with every opportunity to learn, play and enjoy the sport of snooker.

To find out more about the EPSB’s plans to develop English snooker and billiards visit www.epsb.co.uk

The EPSB recommends that Clubs and Centre’s should have a designated person with responsibility for implementing their safeguarding and child protection policy, known as a Club Welfare Officer (CWO).

At Chandlers Ford Snooker Club your CWO is Ray Cooper who holds a DBS certificate (formerly CRB) and has attended certified training in Safeguarding and Child Protection.
